eSim/Steel Beasts Pro currently not available

Quoting the political situation, they have removed installers from their webshop and will work on removing certain features from present versions 4.3 and higher. They did not explicitly say so, but I guess its about certain features and techncial and procedural details in at least some tanks being so realistic that it is no longer an option to publish them freely while Russia increasingly poses a threat in the real world.

I understand they want to be back, but the pause can be lasting several months, since it is about rebalancing the game version available to the wide public completely.

One could be disappointed if one were a new customer interested to get embarked on SBP. On the other hand that they see the need to do what they just announced and explained is a compliment to the high amount of realism in their sim.

They announced their plan to have a "censored"

version available again in the second half of May after the Madrid Expo.

No info on what content will be changed or no longer available.

This is an update in what's going on, what chnages, and how they will move on from here. Also, Steal Beasts will be called right that: "Steal Beasts", not Steal Beasts Pro Personal Edition anymore. The pro version from now on indeed will be developed as a professional customers-only branch (with classroom licenses) that private players can not obtain anymore. Owners of older pro versions will get free licenses for Steal Beast [equivalent version number]. AAR cannot be saved anymore, MP was reduced to fpour players. Standard and pro versions in the future will nevertheless share the same basic sim code.
