Very similar boats are seen on the Erie Canal and its tributaries. Considering it’s in ‘New’ York I imagine a lot of the design ideas are of Brit origin. I transited the canal 15 years ago, ashamed it’s degraded to a shallow ditch with pallets in that time. Used to be quite picturesque in places.

"Narrowboat Tails" is the pictorial diary he keeps on Facebook, but which I don't think you do? If you want the link I'll gladly PM it to you. He posts some great pictures, along with all the business of keeping the boat shipshape, operating the locks etc. - I suppose you'd call it a blog
I'd love a link! I'd like to do a mod for SH4 or SH5 to play with the narrow boat.
Granted I'd have to mod the wind and waves action but why not?
Would be fun to just cruise and look at stuff.

I'm about to PM you the link to "Narrowboat Tails" (Tails because he's got dogs with him). I'm only guessing but maybe you need to have a Facebook account to see it? Let me know

Got the link. Thank You!

Yeah I got a FB account. It's only for seeing stuff you can't find elsewhere.
I got it so locked down even Nancy Lady can't see it!

Some places on the Erie are still very nice. But not 2000+ miles nice.

Got some work to do to make the S-Boot files compatable to GWX 3 but I'm fairly good at that kind of stuff.

Yes, good idea - and you can set off with just 45 minutes of tuition

46 minutes in your case; take your Aricept tablet, and let Moira do the steering!

Mr Squirrel is a squirrel so Aricept tablets will have no effect on him, Dramamine will be a huge help to him though as squirrels are susceptible to motion sickness, especially when he's been eating fermented apples, Yes, I'm sorry to tell you this but Mr Squirrel is a secret pisshead.

PS, don't let him know that I told you that.

It seats up to 30, if you rent it out you could get a 100 in if you're desperate for cash, I'll knock a few quid off for all the puke they left in the bottom of it, what do you say to that then?.

Had some great holidays as a youngster with my parents in past years.
