Default All in One Mod

Hello, been playing SH5 and previous versions for years..just built a new pc...and reinstalling SH5, question..before I go and install seperate mods..can anyone recommend one good stand alone mod (all in one) with good eye candy..not total immersion/realism as far as difficulty, that works and does not need lots of tweaking? thanks!

I'd recommend The Wolves of Steel (TWOS).

Check out the mod's thread here at susbim.com

You asked about an "All in one mod", and for most of us that is exactly what you get. Difficulties only come when you do not follow the install instructions step by step.

lol... just lol... he asked for a mod collection that brings eye candy to sh5 and NOT raise the difficulty to insane levels.thats exactly what wolves of steel do 90% of the time its running, if you not capabale of operating a sub in real life, or simply dont have the time for insane, one men doing all the work alone action, stay away from this full time job desguised as a game.
You need to write notes off screen with excessive calculations and back tracking, having a degree in naval navigation and astromonics is also strongly advised if you want to be able to do anything successfull in this pile of donkey poo.
So damn unrealistic, the CAPTAIN has to do all the work from all the stations on its own, from calculating a course with help of stars and ground temperature below sea level, to using the enigma, like back in the days.like you never did something else. And believe me, you wont do something else for the next couple of hours trying to understand the mechanics of a machine that is poorly explained, at least in my 21th century mentality (sry, i never had the intention to opperate a ****ing box of riddles that took me half an our to operate ui wise alone. When you manage to decode a message CONGRADIULATIONS! you can fly to the mars now and breed buddas.
on top of that you have to calculate torpedo solutions (excessively pause the game is mandatory to have the slightest chance to keep an eye on your target, so much to actual realism) with redicilous tools over tools over tools, and handles and buttons to push and calculate that you get headache when you wake up in the middle of the night, covered in sweat, asking yourself how a simple men shoud be able to handle all the nonsense.

TLDR: if you want to start a life as a uboat pleb doing nothing then rotating around your own axis then go for this life task cloaked as a computer game.if not...STAY AWAY FROM THIS AS FAR YOU CAN BRING DISTANCE BETWEEN YOU AND THIS ABOMINATION OF A MOD!!!!!

It ruins everything that makes the game enjoyable for the regular guy, turning a fun merchant hunt into dönitz´s last grasp out of hell for a poor soul that didnt knew better

Through the OptionsFileEditorViewer (OFEV, the Mickey mouse icon) and TDW Patcher you can determine the difficulty of TWoS. You can play easy or very difficult. Easy is aprox. as the default game. If you want to play arcade, search another game. But you can play TWoS with autotargeting, without real nav, without enigma machine...We play SUBSIMS here, this site is not SUBARCADE.COM. Through OFEV, TDW Patcher and the in gameplay options you can play TWoS in a very easy way...

Try it

Bewst regards.
