RA 1.51
the RA 1.51 is released but i don't want to install it because i would lose all of my MODS, i still have a way but im kinda lazy, i just want to see whats new on 1.51

The thing I've noticed with the last two or three updates is that you lose the diving alarm on the subs.
Otherwise, I just installed RA 1.51 last night and I'm still tweaking some little things. "Marvin The Martian" is going to shore duty on the Seawolf and Virginia class boats. I did have one "ctd" last night while I was paging through the USNI database entries but that happened right after I did the 1.51 install. Otherwise, its too early to start listing any bugs. |

There's a nice model of the Be-12 listed in the USNI database and its listed as an AI assest as well as a "drivable" asset for the player. Keep in mind, in the real world the Be-12 was/is a scaled-down equivalent to the P-3 that could also land on water. I guess I'm trying to figure out what you're asking? Meanwhile, the diving alarm issue kind of resolved itself. Its only limited to the Virginia class sub (unless you start swapping sfx.agg files). There's still an issue with selecting the early 637 class, the game punts you out if you try. Not sure if this is RA or an issue with my install. I'm still going through the playable platforms in Quick Missions only, so that can mean either Quick Missions still has some bugs, some of the playable models might have some bugs, or my install might have some bugs. In other words, your guess is as good as mine. We'll just have to wait and see if there are going to be patches in 1.51's future. |

I find it amusing they finally waved the white flag and gave in on acknowledging JSGME-compatibility!
Wise move. It's not an easy method (done it several times over the years), but it's great to have LwAmi, Alfa Tau, and other competing mods to choose from side-by-side. The RA devs never had anything to worry about, and I'm glad they realized it.

Nice, i think it's a problem for RA, for me it is normal that there are BUGS when a mod releases, about the Be-12 mail questions is
Is there a panel difference? New model and texture? Different Taskbar? What are the weapons? |

Definitely some bugs in the 1.51 especially with the surface units, noticing that I am locking on to a target firing a missile and it going somewhere else.
anyone else with the same issue?
