My guess is he died of suffocation in his sleep from his own vomit from excess alcohol as has sadly happened to a few too-young acquaintances. Good PR to a leaderless 'horde' demanded a more 'kingly' version...I'll bet he didn't say G'Night Hunny' to the new bride either!

"Jay" used to be slang for "foolish person." So when a pedestrian ignored street signs, he was referred to as a "jaywalker."
