Ahoy, skippers!
Greetings, everyone! I am a long-time on-and-off lurker who has recently found how awesome SH4 is. My first subsim was Silent Service for NES, and I really enjoyed 688(i) in its day. My favorite history subject is the war in the Pacific, so I don't know how I missed out on SH4 for so long.
I am looking forward to getting to know you all, and welcome suggestions for new SH4 skippers. So, with that out of the way... Permission to come aboard? |

G'day Rambler,
I'm with you on the pacific theatre, so much going on and a bit closer to home for me. Still, I can't help but think of SH3 as the benchmark. Have you tried SH5? My first subsim was 'The Hunt for Red October - based on the book', things have come a long way!

I think I remember playing that. I also enjoyed Red Storm Rising (the game and the book ). My favorite war game of all time, though, has to be PTO by Koei. I played the crap out of that one for SNES growing up.

Welcome Aboard!
I love learning about the Pacific War. It's the most interesting part of WW2.
