One thing to know about Jamie - he's one of the developers. Armed with the offset value from the box, he (or someone in his team) will be able to pinpoint what it was doing when it was crashed. That usually helps a lot in finding the cause it won't start.

As posted in the Sonalystscombatsimulations forum...keep in mind if you have a dual cored processor, problems are being reported left and right with multiple applications and games not working because the application or games are trying to ultilize both of the cores. Go thru this sequence and give us an update..

So while in the main menu screen I alt-tabbed out to the desktop. Loaded up taskmanager ( ctrl-alt-del ). Go to the apps tab and right click on the dangerous waters app. Select goto process. This will send you to the processes tab with the dangerouswaters.exe selected. Right click on the process and select affinity. Unclick one of your processors (it doesn't matter which one) so that only one processor is running DW.

When you download and install the program, make sure that the A-V software is off and you used EndItAll before the download to stop unnecessary programs and processes.
