Oh wait, just read your system specs... nope, neither of those is going to work on your system - you should really consider getting a new system by now though, yours is quite aged.

But, if you want to stick to that... How about looking into the Enemy Engaged series then? (Apache Havoc (EEAH) and Comanche Hokum (EECH), two separate but cross-compatible titles). They're a bit aged, but should work well on your system. There is an active community around them, with lots of available mods. And yes, for all of these titles, joysticks are pretty well required. You won't really be able to control them well without one - these are very sensitive machines that need precise input. Luckily, a decent joystick can be had pretty cheap.
