Hi all
I am re-installing to use the NYGM mod. In the NYGM manual is mentions SHIICommander, but it doesn't say the order in which to install. If I install: SHIII patch to 1.4b jsgme (or whatever it is called NYGM NYGM battery fix SHIIICommander Do I then have to "rollback" SHIIICommander per the instuctions in the NYGM manual? Thanks! |

I have read the paragraph and it was written (assumption on Observer's behalf here) on the assumption that the player was already using SHIII Cmdr and/or orther mods. Your install order is correct. Please visit Jonesoft's web site to ensure that you have the latest version http://members.iinet.net.au/~jscones/software/ |

As SH3Cmdr is a third party add-on, it can be installed at any time. Simply installing SH3Cmdr makes *no* adjustments to your game files. Changes are only made when you *launch SH3* from SH3Cmdr.
If SH3Cmdr is already installed, then the only requisite is to ROLLBACK prior to installing or removing any mods, SH3Cmdr or SH3 itself. This is explained in the readme of SH3Cmdr as well as basically every major mod out there. Not rolling back is the biggest cause of game abnormalities (such as black sky by day). If you follow your install order, a rollback will not be necessary - as SH3Cmdr hasn't been run, there will be no files to rollback (indeed, the option will not be available). |
