Which mod do you use?

I'm pretty new at this game, but i've played it a few weeks and it's great. now i start thinking of mods. better textures, eye-candy etc.
i read almost all mods at the downloads section here at subsim.com,
but many mods also change realism. i don't like that now.
i'm not that good now.
so i was wondering if you guys could give some tips about which mods to use?
i was also wondering which mods are most common, so just post your used mods!
