Default NAV map

Guys,

in multistation on the ORION and the HELO, the person manning the acoustics does not see on the NAV map all the LOB (active + passive) he sets. How can that be?. Can somebody make a test?...

Thanx!

That wasn't the case last I tried, though there's been a few patches since then. The likely problem would be that the LOBs were filtered - you can filter out neutrals rather easily.

Unselect any track on the navmap, then right click. Somewhere in those menus you can filter by "ID" (friendly, hostile, neutral, unknown)

If that was indeed the case, the other player designating them hostile etc, would resolve it for that contact.

Mahuja, I don't think this is the case. I was playing with Goldorak on the Helo and the Orion and the one manning the acoustics could not see on the NAV all the LOBs he set. On the Helo, for instance, I could see the passive LOB from the buoy but not the active of UNKNOWN targets...

Can somebody run some additional tests?...it seems this only happens with Helo and Orion...

There can sometimes be random issues like this in MS because of lag, etc.

If it does not happen in SP as well, then it is not a game bug, but rather a problem with that particular session.

All kinds of wierdness has been reported in MS, fortunately, it is not as common as drop players.

Luft,

the point is that I cannot see the LOBs I assign myself. It was not like that with the previous patch. Probably something has changed to the worse...
