I am soon going on vacation to Bordeaux, France. I was wondering, since there was a U-Boat base there during WW2, does anyone know if there is somekind of museum there about the subject?
Thank you!

Well, there is not much there except arts, arts and arts.
However there is one interesting thing you can see docked all year round, it is the old Colbert cruiser. I made a quick translation where I got the info from, basically what you need to know to find it, and if its open at the time you will visit. "Quai" >>means >> "Dock" Address: Quai des Chartrons 33000 Bordeaux. Opened on, Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays From 11h00am to 18h00pm Closed from January 1 up to February 3 However, Open every single day from February 4 to February 19 Price: Age 16+ = 7.00€ Kids 5-16 = 5.00€ Here is the link: http://www.bordeaux.fr/ebx/portals/e...ganisme&id=275 Old ship, but I am sure the visit is worth it. ![]() |
