I knew I should not have trusted that SS guy, he said BdU was on my side.

And I just got this brand new IXD2, now I'm to report my findings on the mating habits of dolphins. And in a captured Allied submarine yet.

OK I snuck back to Bordeaux and took these pics ( it was late at night and I tried to lighten up the pics a little ) of the little IIB sub that is spawning right where my IXD2 is and allthough there is no hull problem between the two subs it sure is a racket of noise trying to ease away from the little guy.





The IXD2 default spawns with its aft section in the pens concrete wall and you cannot get out so I did this ( by urseus ):

SilentHunter3\data\Campaigns\Campaign\Campaign_LND .mis

with notepad. ( I used wordpad )

Look for:


[Unit 36]
Name=Bordeaux
Class=NavalBase
Type=407

Where it says Long/Lattitude, change the co-ordiantes to these over the top of the ones that are there:

Long=-103695.000000
Lat=5447206.000000



And lo and behold the little IXB is in the way.





Guess I could play around with the numbers a little and try to move the IXD2 a little more to the other side but there may not be enough room so would someone please remove the little AI IIB sub and park it somewhere else please.

As these pics show the IXB has spawned next to the IXD2 and in these pics I got out with out hitting it but other times the big sub spawns right over the top of the small one and on the way out of the pen it looks like the big sub is giving birth to the little one. Like in my first pic begining post.


For now I think I'll transfer to Brest and try my luck untill maybe this is fixed.


This really is no biggie but it is anoying.
