Default Water mods.

I'm looking for a nice water mod. I'm not really bothered about whether it is too opaque or whatever as long as it looks cool. I know there were a few about. But can;t seem to find any links or info.

Can anyone recommend one too me?

Mine's available as a stand-alone mod at my website: http://www.beerymod.com/BeeryWater.zip

It looks like this underwater:

I can send you mine, not sure if you'd like it - it's even more 'hardcore' than Beery's. The main differences are that you can't see any ships on the surface below 100m at all (I can with Beery's and it sort of kills it for me, since I'll be glued to the scope anytime I'm under attack), and it doesn't have any 'banding' which I really don't like (why couldn't the devs make it a proper gradient instead of those crappy-looking bands? That's why I made it an even, single color)

It has quite of colour variation between sunny/stormy and day/night, but in general it's also a lot less saturated than either the default or Beery's. It's very pale, grayish blue with a touch of green (and more greyish green at sunset)

Here's one pic of it...

(this is mid-day, cloudy, around 30m depth)

Hey CCIP, I wonder if you would consider letting me publish your version on my site? The banding issue is a big one for me also, so I'd like to try your version, and since it's a lot different from both mine and the standard SH3 version I think it should be available for download somewhere.

I started using the water mod from the Marbour life. As I never use the scope when I'm underwater anyway, I prefer to be able to see through it for screenshots and stuff.

Alright, I'll send it to you shortly. Let me just package some screenshots for it, too, so people can see the difference better.

Mine is good for screenshots from above or at shallower angles from below - but you won't see anything from below, because of how it's made. I made it with the Observation scope in mind rather than the camera...

It's fairly unobtrusive and bleak, that's why I like it for the most part. The only two things that bother me about it is lack of visibility near PD and the fact that it actually gets clearer down below (except when looking up).

Alright, here's my water mod (tweaked slightly to account for RUb's night water reflection changes)

Despite the nice colour variations, it's really a mod with teeth and completely ruthless in terms of its' effect on gameplay. You will, at best, only see silhouettes against splashing waves on the surface, and only at certain angles, looking through the periscope.

Although 90% of people would probably not like it - I've been playing with it for months now, and couldn't be happier
