Greetings to all subsimmers! I am new to the subsim website. I am a cold war US Navy veteran, and a plankowner on the USS Nimitz. I served aboard her in the Operations Electronics division from January 1975 to September of 1976. have been studying submarines and submarine warfare since I was a child in the 1960's. I also enjoy subsimming. I enjoy all of the Silent Hunter series, and each iteration has its strengths and weaknesses. I have especially been enjoying Wolfpack345's various Silent Hunter playlists on youtube because of his narrative style and his expertise with the TDC. I am trying to mod out my copy of Silent Hunter III the way he has done, but I'm an old man now, and not as computer savvy as I used to be. Oh, well, I'll still get it done.
