Good Missions to ease into?
I've been trying to play DW on an off for years, and while I have most of the mechanics down, my largest issue is finding fun missions that aren't impossible (and throw 400 surface and sub-surface contacts at you).
Can anyone recommend a few missions that are light on contacts, and good for someone not to get overwhelmed? Specifically where you control a sub? Thanks! |

The default Russian Rebellion campaign is pretty good for this. It starts off slow and eases you into it. I don't think weapons start flying until the fourth mission.

Wow! Of all the people to reply...I learned so much from your videos, thank you so much for doing them.
The first mission of the Russian campaign kicked my butt (I get counter detected easily) and it's confusing to me given the number of contacts (I think I counted over 8 with show truth after losing). Guess I'll keep at it. Thanks again! |

You're welcome! The first mission is pretty straight-forward, you just have to mark all the contacts in the periscope (assuming you're doing the 688(I) mission). Are you playing it with a mod? For example, the stock campaign isn't tuned for the changes RA makes and it can break some missions.
