Just another noob
Howdy Folks,
A brief introduction. I started playing sub sims with MicroProse's Silent Service when I was in college. Yeah, I'm that old. I also played all of the various incarnations of the Harpoon games and Silent Hunter. I am now spending TOO MUCH TIME playing Cold Waters. That game is addictive! I added the 688 Flt III mod to make my life easier (at least for a while), but the FIRST mission I got was dropping off SEALS at Archangelsk. The 2nd mission was a TLAM strike on Murmansk. And I made my life harder by misreading the mission orders and going back to Archangelsk...wait, where's the targeting circle??? At least I knew the neighborhood. My son uses the handle FrigidWalrus for online gaming, so for this board I figured I'd co-opt his handle. -FatherOfDatWalrus |
