Can anyone tell me which file contains the detail for the time display in the game clock? I have searched all the config files and the mod documentation for GWX and Living SH3 (mods I use) but could find nothing.
Thanks Needed to play in the new multiplayer campaign. Radio reports must be in German time. (GMT ?) ![]() The default is 'local' time and the Bdu won't accept that in his game.

I can't answer the specific question, but "GMT" is Greenwich Mean Time, which is now called UTC (Coordinated Universal Time...don't ask me why "they" didn't abbreviate it CUT).
The "default" time shown in both my GWX3 and LSH15 installations is GMT or "Zulu" time, which, by convention, is the time that is supposed to be used (in the real world) for radio message traffic and weather reporting. Sources say that the WWII German High Command used Central European time for radio message traffic; the KTB's I have read all used Central European time for the entries, regardless of where the boat was located. Perhaps a matter of "Anglophobia" to reject the use of the Royal Observatory in Greenwich as their Time Standard? Or maybe just a convenience to never have to reset your chronometer after leaving homeport in Germany. ![]() In GWX, when you mouse over the clock it changes to Local Time, which is correctly calculated based on your present Longitude E or W of Greenwich. That doesn't happen in LSH15 though; the clock always shows GMT. I've asked before if anyone knows how to fix that so it works the same as in GWX, but never got an answer. Maybe you'll have better luck. |

Thanks for the info. I have also found out that Berlin and Lorient, France are in the same time zone. That means that I needn't have worried. The time showing in game, leaving port, would have been the same whether showing GMT or UTC. Good to know. I worry too much!
