Download issue

Just downloaded SH4 gold from amazon on to my surface pro 3 and it doesn't seem to want to start. I downloaded to c: and not to program files. Checked compatibility (troubleshooting) with several different windows versions and none seem to work. I have also tried running as admin too. When I click on autorun it opens to the screen when I can select play. After hitting play nothing happens. I have checked the forums and haven't found anything else to try. I would appreciate any help or pointing in the right direction.

okay just notices something I may have done wrong...am re-downloading to see if this works. When I clicked on link from amazon it created a folder on my desktop to download the came. I tried to change the directory to my C: but it wont let me. last time I clicked install after this desktop folder was done and directed the download to c: Should I have directed it to the desktop folder it originally created? I noticed there were files and folders in the desktop on that were not in the c: folder.

Just completed the download and it downloaded to program files (I didn't catch it in time) but it seems to work now?!? I thought it should be placed in the c: but this seems to work. I am guessing no further help is needed I hope. Now to add some mods!!
