I'm new to Silent Hunter games and just recently finished the game. I played it with "no realism" and now I'm gradually working my way up. I wanted to add some simple mod's to start off with, so I downloaded the MaxOptics IV for SH4 1.5 but I just can't get it to work. Is this a stand-alone mod or do I have to have some other mod to go with it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please, be kind because if there was a word below Noob, it would apply to me. Thanks again for any help.
