I wish it gave more control to the player as far as aiming each gun, depth charges and torpedoes. It's a great game and so was DG, but lets step it up a notch. The new Civll War game makes the same mistake, forget what it's called. I prefer WW1 and Russo-Jap war.

Well, Jutland is not Fleet Command type of game where you have almost full control of individual warships. It is rather tactical-operational level naval warfare simulator of WW1 era. Like it or not but that was Jutland's developers concept.
Anyway I think this is good game however later add-ons are not very stunning because they do not add significant content to this game. Well, maybe Ship Pack 2 with 1915 campaign is worth buying from historical perspective. You can also try Steam & Iron game but lack of 3D view is poor idea because it makes this game looking like 1980s vintage production. |
