Default Mong Question...

I know that this may well be a dumb Q...but...

Where do I find the files that change torp abilities? IE is there (and where is it) a file or cfg that I can open and change speeds, damage etc?

Ive looked through the various files and cant seem to find them!?

Default

data/library/torpedo.sim for germans torps, or torpedoes_US.sim if you use american fishes
use s3d editor
there you can change speed, angle, pistol or detonation distance
and in .zon file can change damage and efficiency factor

Default Cool thanks..and one more...lol

Thanks I have one last one...

If trying to dumb down my escorts sonar what would I achieve here..

Ive gone into the data, cfg, sim cfg and changed the following.

Hydrophone: Detection time from 1 to 3
Sensitivity from 0.15 to 0.50

Sonar: Detection time from 5 to 7
Sensitivity from 0.05 to 0.35

Lose time from 30 to 10.

Can someone please explain the effects that each one of the above will have?

Many , many thanks!

PS Where can I find the editor?
