Edward Kennedy's daughter Kara dies aged 51

The only daughter and eldest child of the late Senator Edward Kennedy, Kara, has died of heart failure aged 51, her brother Patrick has said.

The former TV producer was in remission after having a malignant tumour on her lung removed in 2003. She had been weakened physically, he said.

In recent years, Kara Kennedy Allen worked for a charity involved in providing arts opportunities for the disabled.

Senator Kennedy died in August 2009.

She received the Presidential Medal of Freedom on his behalf from President Obama just 13 days before her father's death.

She is survived by brothers Patrick, a former congressman from Rhode Island, and Edward Junior, a lawyer and investment banker, her mother Joan Kennedy and a teenage son and daughter.

May she rest in peace until the day of the Lord. May the family be strengthened.

No they are not

That's a cruel thing to say to anyone in the event of a death of a dear one.

Unless you know for sure through divine revelation :P. But if not well best keep it to yourself.

I think you may be taking JU_88 comment out of context Castout.

The saying is one often used in the UK and in this instance I believe he meant the family in question is full of sad and tragic events surrounding family members this century....but I'm sure he'll come back to you with clarification.

Thank you Jim. ^^
Yes I was metaphorically refering to the number of Kennedys that have been taken before their time - while still being sympathetic.
And im not saying it to them, Im saying it of them, theres a big difference.

Through history most fundie denominations pronounce the Kennedy family is cursed, it started with ties to alcohol. I heard numerous pastors state the family suffers a curse from God in my PAST fundie days years ago.

I think when some hear that....that's what comes to mind.

Ah it sounded like you believe they were cursed.

Yesterday someone replied to my yahoo comment clearly implying I was a weak man who has given up on all things and who ultimately was looking for money compensation.

He didn't say that it was me but still it was obvious.
It seems in this part of the region a victim gets victimized again and again and again. Simply because I'm not a man of power. How can I be a man of power when as a student, my life gets destroyed. Asians (and many Arab rulers)are never enlightened enough to appreciate individual rights. I used to hear that it is better that one man's life be destroyed than many. Those spoken by people who claim they were religious. I swear i believe had Jesus had been born again these very people would have crucified him again. These people would reject living holy men but would respect and venerate dead ones because dead ones are no longer able to speak against them.

Just to make the comparison that it is not nice to say things which are untrue of people. If you are unsure better keep it to yourself.

I replied that I hope someday God give me [another] chance to be able to jump ship to another nation. His reply was I could try taking refuge in another planet or another realm. He used the word 'we' instead of 'you' though to avoid making it a direct threat. With the latter he meant death of course.
I know commentary section is monitored by government employee. Now I know one just replied to my comment and they knew me. I'm not surprised at all just disgusted they had the audacity to say it in my face.
