Default Sgt Reckless - Korean War Horse Hero

Story of Sgt Reckless, a horse so heroic during the Korean war she was promoted to Staff Sergeant by the Commandant of the US Marine Corps, and is listed alongside George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa and John Wayne as one of our all-time heroes.

Shame about the soldiers with their M-16's, which were invented after the Korean war.
Ah well. Artistic video license, anyone?

Yeah dont know why they did not use Pork Chop Hill

Wonder why you never see any modern Korean War movies? Oh because it is the Forgotten War.

They really should make a good movie about the Korean War and MASH does not count seeing as it was really the first movie to touch on Vietnam even though its setting was another war.

JAG had a couple of episodes about Korean War veterans. I agree about a modern movie though, and M*A*S*H doesn't count for the reason you cited, and also because it wasn't really about war at all, but doctors in a war zone, and most especially because it's now 40 years old, which makes it less than modern.

Because to most people, all wars look the same.

If the enemy is Germans, it's WWII. If the enemy is Asian, and the movie is B&W, it's WWII. If the enemy is Asian, and the film is color, it must be Vietnam.
