Default Trying to understand the menu_1024_768.ini file

I got a little figured out.

Basically I am trying to add aditional flotillas because how GWX did it, their a little inacurrate and I currently have 9 I think up to 909. I know how to edit both the Flotilla.cfg and the flotillas.cfg but I am trying to find the link between the buttons of starting a campaign in menu_1024_768.ini with the two flotilla cfg files. I was wondering what "Type=" is in the ini file.

If I dont have to edit the menu ini file then let me know. I dont think so.

Ill just be adding some stuff to the strings in en_menu.cfg which I know how to do, and posittioning the icons with flotillas.cfg in the Menu folder and of course the Flotilla.cfg in the cfg folder.

TY in advance

Hello,

You have not to edit the menu_ini file.

You have to edit the en_menu.txt / de_menu.txt

You have to edit the flotilla.cfg inside Cfg folder (the one inside Data)

Your other question about flotillas:

You can go untill flotilla 914, 5 more (910, 911, 912, 913, 914). I suppose. I am not sure. Because the next number is in use for other purpose inside en_menu.txt.

For more than that someone with more experience should answer you.

Good luck
