flak gunner is blind
He is firing at least 2 inches below the planes all the time,I maxed him out on his abilities and there is no change. Is there something wrong or is that just the way it is.Another thing when i take control of the flak gun myself ,its the ****s when planes are coming towards me my own sights are blocking my view. This game really is a mess.Sh4 worked way better.

How to attack aircraft....... My advice with aircraft is 1. depth under keel, and turn to incoming aircraft. 2. If depth more than 50 meters, CRASH DIVE!!!! and level boat before bottom or max safe depth. 3. If depth less than 50 meters, Ahead Flank, and dive to a depth that wont hit bottom. 4. After plane has passed overhead. Turn hard to port/starboard and hope they've missed. Set new heading (so the aircraft cant predict where you might be heading). 5. Stay down until they've gone. check out my sig..... aircraft are deadly ![]() ![]()

WOW, is there anything you don't have a vid tutorial on??? ![]() Gonna watch the one above and 17 (how to attack airplanes) right now. ![]() Very informative and entertaining, keep making them. ![]() I hate planes, my hull is at 67% and i dived as soon as my watch crew spotted him. I blame TDW.... I never had this problem before IRIA. ![]()

Now.. where is this AN47? Or we have a kriegsmarine grid mod that I missed it? I have the same problem with the radio messages too, where the location of ships &stuff are reported with KMGrid coordinates.

Only reason why I would alt-tab is stellarium. So far I replaced one of the ship traffic chart in tdw ui with a KMG map, but I was hoping for a mod.

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom//sho...=120252&page=2 lists many links to websites featuring Kriegsmarine grid maps. Most of them a not working anyore, but not all of them. Have a glance to this spanish website, for instance: http://www.u-historia.com/uhistoria/...afia/mapas.htm. It got many maps for different areas. Yet I am curious to see the ones used by jwiliams and Zedi too. Peraphs we could make or choice between them and ask TDW to include them in his UIs, like he did for shipping and speeds/ranges/times charts. I guess it shouldn't be much work for him to do so. |

Well, if you mean wich one I like the most between the ones featured in the website I pointed out, it depends on our current operating area.
As far as it doesn't involve too much work, I would add all of them to the game, or at least the ones related to the locations used by stock and Open Orizons campaigns. If you look well in the spanish website, almost at the bottom of the page there's a synoptic chart for the whole world (called "Mapa Mundi"). It would be nice if by clicking in game some button we would be able to recall this map, and then, by clicking on it, in the correct area, view the detailed grid map for that area. I am not sure if this last idea is easily doable for TDW, though, as he is busy with other most imposrtant issues ![]() |
