Hi guys have been playing sh3 for a couple of weeks now, and have pretty much got the hang of it. However when i started playing the career mode and came to my first plane encounter and the message screen came up i hit whatever button i could at the time. Now everytime i want to engage a plane i have to re surface the boat and put crew back on the flak etc. Is there a file where i can change the defaults for engaging other ships, planes etc. Thanks

Hit escape in game and then select options, and click 'Reset default action'. Then when you get any more encounters it will bring up the default action dialog so you can pick what you want to do again.

![]() Sorry... welcome aboard. You will find that engaging planes, while hair-raising and thrilling, is a poor career move. They do blow up nice, though.

I have decided to never set those options, as it becomes a nice HEY LOOK AT ME! for when I'm not paying attention to SH.
It also doesn't give that black screen alert when you encounter a friendly/neutral ship, just enemies only. So if your unsure of sides, that's a give away too. |
