I just installed TMO and am really struggling with crappy FPS issues when I have both the new panel readouts and the deck officer nav map (nav map on the desk). I think it's mostly the new panel readouts.
Is there any way to reinstall the stock panel markings? I think it's the "interior mod" looking at an older article on subsim main page. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=158706 The christmas tree of lights on the panel. At least I think that's what it is. It's ok to look at it, but if I turn right and the desk with the deck officer and nav map, FPS takes a beating. It's almost unplayable. |

i'm sorry to hear that you have problems with the
new rooms, they are not really optimized for performance. so i think it's ok to take the "interior" folder from 1.9 before activating TMO 2. |

I'm also realizing i'm having problems with the environment externally as well. A rain storm is a crawl. I'd love to have the programming/AI of TMO, but with the environment of RFB or FOTRS as both of those worked fine at decent settings. I went back to RFB and play that for a while. Maybe if I get bored of RFB (haven't played RFB much), I'll try to experiment with taking some of the folders out of TMO and see what happens, at my own risk of course. |
