unable to install GWX 3.0

got a new computer, installed silent hunter III patch and am trying to instal GWX 3.0.

I downloaded all files, hit the exe. file but it wants to me to find the program to open it. Before, exe file installed automatically. I have windows 7

solution?

Right click the GWX3.exe file and rename it GWX3.exe

And do not install it into a program folder; use a separate game folder.
Also, I suggest you read the Windows 7 thread or you will have a bunch of problems that are easy to avoid and hard to fix.

Got it to instal., But it sounds like I have to go read something on windows 7. Started a campaign, saved it, went to play it a couple days later and now the game crashes right when Silent Hunter III says..."Long ago..." Bam.
