Default Cannot Wait!!

My brand new copies of SH III, IV, and V are on their way here now :] Dont think ive ever been this excited before

Oh and does JSGME work with all versions of SH III-> 5? or do i need a different one for each game. Im gonna get GWX 3.0 for SH III and plan on getting IRAI for 5, as well as green water color, Idk if there is a realistic torpedoe damage for 5 like there is in 3.. and idk about 4 yet

You need a separate install of JSGME into each game, but you'll find that it's easy to copy and paste, and make a separate shortcut for each one. All you have to do is rename each one to match its location. I have three different SH3 installs plus SH4, and each one has its own JSGME. It also works with any other game available, and in the same manner.

Okay lol be ready because once I get these games Im probably gonna have a fun fun time installing the mods and everything. Im looking for the GWX 3.0 for SHIII and cannot find it. nor JGSME for each one. I have seen the IRAI for 5 but cannot remember where to find it for the life of me too many mods for me to keep track of!

Ditto to what Steve said. I've got 4 and 5 on my machine, and have two seperate JSGME installs and shortcuts. Works fine.

The only version of GWX guaranteed to work is the one in Jimbuna's sig.

You can actually have a central install of JSGME now, check the instructions for central installation.

I don't trust JSGME. Especially all the new features in it.

Man, just think - it's free, it works, it doesn't have bugs, it's handy, we couldn't live without it, it's been developed constantly for many years, it has a good customer support and friendly community, it doesn't consume much resources, it has very good documentation.

OBVIOUSLY something is wrong here. I didn't find the hook yet, still looking for it though. There has to be one.

so could itake that JSGME get it and put it on my computer then when I get SH III, IV, and V installed, take it and drop it into each folder?? or do I actually need different versions for each game? and I heard GWX comes with JSGME already in it, if I already have the program in it will it conflict with the JSGME thats in there already or just leave it/overwrite it?

What's amazing is the time you have to play all 3 sims.

You can use the latest version for each, but each one has to have a seperate install and a seperate shortcut that links to the root directory of each game. If GWX comes with it, then that should take care of itself in the installation, just be sure to make a shortcut. I know that Trigger Maru and RFB do not for SH4, nor do any of the mods for SH5, so you will have to manually install for those.

It'll be here before you know it. It'll be over before you know it. You'll be old before you know it.
