Default Salmon Class Cannot Comply

Hello all.

I'm trying to depart Brisbane on my fourth patrol. Telegraph orders are met with, "Cannot Comply".

This is beginning of the patrol. I have a full ship's compliment of fully rested men with officers at each station for each shift, full fuel, no damage. I am not rigged for silent running and calling general quarters and then securing again has no effect.

I am modded from 1.5 only with TMO 2.0. I am trying to take out a Salmon class boat; I can rearrange some files to start the patrol in the earlier S boat but the Salmon class boat won't respond.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kevin

Welcome to the boat mate.
Now all we got to do is get you going.

The "can not comply " replay comes up when you have a fatigued crew which is obviously not your problem.

Only thing I can think of is to plot a course out of the port and than hit the return to course button.

Like your siggy by the way.

I like S-boat fans, im a big one, even made a fan club about them but honestly I don't know what to do with it since all my members are always doing things.

Do as I do, use Sargo instead. They're like the sister line of the Salmon, but got more attention from devs and modders to erase bugs out of them.
One particular was a problem with the conning tower upgrade and the bow mounted cannon was another one. This could as well be another Salmon related flaw.

How do I do that? At the end of the last mission I was just given the option to accept a new boat, not choose the boat class.

I was really hoping that there was a way to fix this and continue on in my career.

Try putting them to Battlestations and then standing them down. I seem to recall from way back that this worked sometimes.

Thanks, buddy. I like fiddling around with gimp and making battle flags and such.

I've tried everything to get going and nothing works. I've switched over to RFB for the time being. I sure wish I could get that TMO career going again.

Did you try posting in the TMO mod forum. I haven't heard any complaints with the Salmon with 2.0, but Ducimas might can help ya. On the other forum someone else had same problem, but with the sargo, but mentioned seeing an engine patch..

Almost finished with my 1.9 career, then will start 2.0 and give it a try.

I'll give it a try, I hope no one thinks I'm spamming the queue!

Well, it's either a problem with his mod or you have some fubar files. I'm sure he would like to check it and maybe others have already used the Salmon without problems, then you know it's something to check on your end.
