It is the forgotten war.
American's remember that we lost 58,000 people in the Vietnam Conflict which lasted 16 years (57-73) 3,600 deaths per year In the Korean Conflict we lost 36,000 in only three years. 12,000 deaths per year. It is a shame that the Korean Conflict is not more commonly remembered. "OUR NATION HONORS HER SONS AND DAUGHTERS WHO ANSWERED THE CALL TO DEFEND A COUNTRY THEY NEVER KNEW AND A PEOPLE THEY NEVER MET"
