Radio message to transfer to different flotilla

Just got a radio message saying:

"From: BDU
To: U-148 (me)

Proceed to La Spezia for transfer to 29th flotilla"

....Is this for real or immersion purposes as it's addressed to my uboat?

If you are in the 23th flotilla in salamis in the 5\42 your base will change to la spezia.

I have gotten this first patrol Nov '41 out of Lorient 2nd Flotilla in an IXC.

What does BdU want to do with an IXC in the Med

IIRC, Hitler Ordered BdU to send every Uboat they could into the med to give the brits a hard time and to help rommel, and for about 40 days, Britian lost a lot of ships.

Logic would have that the IX's would stay in the atlantic, but logic doesn't always prevail....

If I am not mistaken the message that arrives in november '41 is to U-96 and it says also to refuel at Vigo
