AZ'S REAL UNDERWATER NIGHT

As an offshoot of my future sea recolor green mod come this simple mod.

Amazingly in vanilla the underwater fog remains the same during the day and night. This simple mod makes the underwater fog darker at night.

Also modified some ridiculous vanilla lower sea alpha values for temperate sea which made them way to clear. I brought them down to be balanced with the other more sensible vanilla settings.





Ummmm , please adjust your brightness if you can't see anything. Dont know why it's so dark, looks okay ingame.

Env_Temperate.cfg
Env_Polar.cfg
Env_Tropical.cfg

Mods that edit those will confilct. Which will include my future recolor sea mod, but that will implement this system also.

Glad you enjoy it . That makes it worthwhile to do these little things and share them.

One bad thing about modding is (for me at least) that I find it hard to just settle down, play and enjoy the game. Every time I try to play the game I either find something else I wan't to change or I find some stuff that I messed up in one of my mod and I have to fix it.

In fact, I haven't properly played the game since that window lighting mod I did. Heck I'm not even past the first campaign.

I need to start downloading mods and playing again..... maybe after the green sea mod...
