...ok, so I changed the "Set Wave Height" in SH3 Commander's gameplay settings to 'seasonal' and fired up the game. I am running GWX 3. I Played a little bit and went away. I then decided to uncheck the "Set Wave Height" in SH3 Commander again and I fired up the game again.
But, it may just be me, but I'm convinced that the water looks different. I think it's less reflective now. As I said, it may just be me. However, does anyone know if changing the "Set Wave Height" in SH3 Cimmander over-writes the water effects of GWX 3? Or am I just kidding myself. |

I don't think it does, but I could be wrong.

...or Arctic. But it should be stressed that in these instances all SH3Cmdr does is force SH3 to use the correct water and cloud textures (ie fixes the SH3 bug where Atlantic textures are used regardless of where you are)...and has nothing to do with the wave height setting.
@OP: No, setting the wave height does not overwrite any effects, otherwise the option wouldn't be just to set the wave height, would it? ![]() |

Cool. Thanks everyone.
I must be getting old. Everytime I change something, I'm covinced something else is getting screwed up. |
