Default U-boat number.

I was wondering how can i find out what my u-boaty designation is in the game? In sh-3/4 i had a u boat designation. IN sh-5 in cant find it.
I mean it just adds something to the game knowing at least what u-boat you were assigned to.

If you listen to the little cutscene between the flotilla chief and the elder kaleun in the beginning of the game, you find out your starting U-boat is U-22...or is it U-27? I can't remember. Don't have the game in front of me. But they mention it in that conversation.

Yes, U-27, but on my radio communications I am referred to as U-32. I guess my crew and I boarded the wrong boat

The random U-boat number assignment is probably still active from SH3...

Are you still using the original VIIa boat? If you've got a new VIIB or VIIc I could see that as the reason for the new number.

Thanks for the fast response. So tell me what boat are you sailing in these days? I,ll let you know as soon as BDU sends me a message.
