Default How to dive?

I know this is a dumb question but when I dive it says "Cannot dive, crew on deck" how do I get them off?

?? Crew on deck? Deck gun crew? I have not seen this message.

I know that if you the player are not IN the sub, you cannot dive.

I make sure my character is IN the sub, that way whenever I need to dive it's not a problem.
Otherwise, you need to run down the ladder before it will let you dive.

Yeah, only your character needs to go down, I guess the other crew are smart enough to follow once they hear the diving alarm!

Don't feel dumb for asking that! Heck... it took me ten minutes to figure out how to get in my dam sub while it was docked! How was I supposed to know I needed to wander around talking to others standing around watching my boat?!?!? Seriously... I even tried jumping the railing into the water and swimming to it, there wasn't a walkway present, so I figured if I were to swim to my boat, a "hand" might appear like in Far Cry II and it would plop me onto the deck!!

I had to come here to find out how to turn. You think in the tutorial they would tell you these things.

Default frame rate issues

I'm using an ATI card, but I solved all my frame rate issues by turn V-sync off, and also turning it off in catalyst control... I left shadows and everything else on high.

Go find the general person dood.
  1. Skip the intro
  2. Find the plus symbols
  3. Choose one
  4. Exit the map
  5. Talk to him again
  6. Select start patrol

Somewhere alongside your boat, you'll find an officer. When you click to talk to him it will give you the option to begin your mission. Now for the next part that completely lost me. When it shows the short video of the map, don't exit the map (like I did three times) and wonder why your not in your sub ready to go. After the video, the map will be there, and you have to look for a dark circle (it's small) with a cross in it. There are more than one, and you click on the one you want to start. Then... you're in your boat! An actual tutorial would have really helped IMO.

Yeah, that's funny. Took me about 20 mins before I realised I has to speak to THE MAN!
