I guess I'll get SH5 after all
Looks like my wife purchased it for my birthday.
So... yeah. I own SH5 now. I'm at work, will be playing with it a little later tonight after i get out of here around 6:00 expect more info and my first thoughts/review soon

I played it for about 15 minutes last night... which is nothing. but all i can say so far. Nothing will ever be the same... everything has changed, there is a steep learning curve, its a very deeply involved game and most experts at SH3 / 4 i would wager would be more or less totally lost when first firing this thing up. no opinion as to quality yet though.

There is a TON.. no.. a CRAPTON of work to do on it. Number 1 problem IMO is the UI. I can understand why its minimalistic, but its lacking in functionality. Also.. about importing the type 9D2 from UBM. Without doing some MAJOR 3d work, forget it. The interior is now part of the sub model, and it is not referenced in a seperate pipeline in the subs cfg file anymore. (though one could try that, maybe some legacy code allows it, but i doubt it will work right) |
