I NEED help!

about 6 months ago I was trying desperately to get SH3 to work with Vista, I couldnt do it. So rather than give up, I installed XP again on my brand new pc!

Off I went to university and all is going well, I recently bought a laptop with windows 7! you can see where this is going...

I have SH3 installed and it opens ok, but just when it should open up the first menu it CTD's! I have tried the DXfix that some people say works and that made it totally FUBAR!

When I have 4 hours of Meteorology lectures I really need to be playing SH3 on my really nice, new, HD lappy!
