Default Ok Kaleuns, what are your system specs?

Kaleuns....
been curious for a while now:

would love to see what others are "running" rig-wise, (for those not up with the latest lingo, your P.C.)

Post your specs.....and anything else "tech-wise" that directly relates to Silent Hunter gameplay....

My "new rig":
Intel Core i3 530 2.93ghz (not oc'd) (will upgrade to i7)
Gigabyte P55-UD3P Mobo, LGA1156, XFIRE
XFX ATI HD4870 1GB factory oc'd (will xfire this beast soon)
4GB DDR2-PC800 (upgrading to 8 soon)
Hitachi 320GB 3.5 SATA2 HDD 16MB Cache
XIGNMATEK 600W PSU (will upgrade to 1000)
Pioneer SATA OEM 12x/22x D.L.
Win 7 64BIT

not at all Kaleun, it's just common courtesy to post your own sys specs when starting a thread like this......

my current specs are just capable to play GWX3 fluently, SH5 will have me buy a new "rig".
but I already postponed that.

I am a ATI man through and through.......
the only thing that the dam cards won't support is PHYSX (NVIDIA owns that)....bugger...
games like Batman AA utilise that.....
looks awesome with PHYSX on.....

that's a beefy lappy alright... how do you go with the 2 4870's xfired?

gee i hope your PSU is up to it....ATI recommends min 700W PSU with 2 4870's xfired....

do you get any fps drops with anything? the duo core the cheaper version of the dual core chips....does it cause you any bottlenecks?

It's the Asus W90vp-x1 I've had no problem since I switched bios and replaced it with a custom one. I also use modded drivers for my video cards. I boosted my bench mark score by 2000 points alone. And no I have'n't noticed any sort of bottle necking at all, except in the last cpu tes on futuremark. I wish I had a Quad, but $1500 is to much cash for me now.
Empire Total war, with everything on max was awesome looking, no problem at all, very fluid. Crysis is the same way believe it or not.
So far this is the best computter i've ever owned.
