Default maximum range - speed setting

Hi,

does anyone noticed that the bigger fleet boat types (at least the sargos as far as I can tell) do get their maximum range when cruising at standard speed ?

I was used to travel at 2/3 in my S-class (and in SH3 in general) when I wanted to save fuel. Now in my new boat (sargo) the maximum range is achieved when sailing at standard instead. Which was about 10.000 nm when leaving port. When I set 2/3 (and wait for the speed to fully drop, of course) the maximum range is about 1000 nm below.

So, are those bigger boats really more fuel efficient when cruising faster, i.e. at standard ?
