Late to the party...

I started out, and fell in love with, Jane's 688i H/K in 1998. I think it was the first WinPC software I bought (had an Amiga 1200 before that). Turned to the Mac world in 2001, and I still prefer my Mac, but I got my brother's old (2003-2004) WinPC last year and the first thing I installed was 688i! Following a little googling, I found DW and that eventually led me here.

But I realise that the party is fizzling out. I'm too late, as always...
Not that it matters much. I still enjoy DW just as much.

I didn't really have anything to say - I just wanted to "vent", as it were...

Hey, there are new mods available (LWAMI, Reinforce Alert, Alfa Tau) which greatly improve the game, and there's still multiplayer matchups. Plenty of reason to start playing again.

There's still life in the ol' girl yet.

No, you are wrong, the glass is half filled and not half empty...do you have an idea what it has been to wait all these years to get until the official 1.4 patch, then the succesive LWAMI versions until current 3.09? You've spared yourself all of that, and have everything available at a click of the mouse

I agree .. with mod ban release and new LWAMI, this is busy times, I don't even manage to follow all the changes.
