More questions on crew management

Just a couple more questions on crew management:
1. Is there any in-game way to keep track of the number of patrols by each crew member, or should it be done manually outside of the game?
2. Back to that issue of "disappearing" deck gun crew: Once they disappear (because I messed up in loading new deck guns), is there any way to recover those crew slots?
3. What is the purpose, and how do we take advantage, of those temporary ability icons for some crew members? They come with the weirdest tags, such as "Increase fanatical chance". WTF is that? Is there a list of possible tags and corresponding temporary abilities?

1. The game does keep track of the number of patrols but for what reason i am not sure. It does not display it in game.
2. Yes there is. It involves the editing of save files and there is a thread explaining how. I don't remember where( I hardly ever use the deck guns) so you will have to do a search.
3. Those abilities are not active in Real Fleet Boat so I never encountered them. I would suspect it happens under a set of conditions automatically. Fanatical is the highest state of morale in the game, so it probably involves raising the morale states of associated crew members.
