Default no torpedoes

I finished a mission and returned to base with no forward torpedos and four aft torpedoes. I ended the mission and began a new one. When I left base I checked my stock of torpedoes. I was not resupplied. I stopped at Midway and rearmed. Midway failed to resupply me as well. What is the deal? I guess someone wants me to practice using my aft torpedoes?

I remember that between missions you used to have to go to the torpedo layout panel from the office screen and load the empty tubes yourself everytime in the stock game. Even when the torpedoes were 'free' in terms of renown. Lately, I've been playing with TMO and RSRD and they're already loaded (with mk 14s usually) every time. Maybe it depends on the mod.

Yea it was sort of a known snafu.

Just make sure you check your loadout before you leave base. You wanted to add a couple of Mk10's anyhow right?

check your mods, some require you to select the torps of your choice and wont auto reload them for you.

i have never had torps not be restocked when playing the stock game.

the only way i could think of that happening would be if your tubes were damaged beyond repair so there was no point in loading them.

Playing RFB with RSRD. I will go back to Pearl, dock again, and see if that does the trick.

You really don't want the Supply Chief to unload those cruddy Mk 14's on you do you?

I always stand in front of his desk and demand the Mk 10's.

I am kinda old fashioned.... I like my torpedoes to explode when the hit the ship, not just bounce off.

Default fixed

I restarted my mission home from Japan, stopped in Midway to reload. It worked this time. Restarting my mission from Japan caused my to lose one merchant that I sunk, but I reported to Kill Flags anyway. It was very wierd for the base in Pearl not reload torpedoes, as the base refueled the boat. Anyway, I am now loaded to the hilt with torpedoes.

In my aborted mission, I sunk one ship with the O'Kane method, one with manual targeting, and I missed three shots with the Cromwell attack technique (I think my firing angle was not set to 0 degrees). I damaged another with manual targeting but my game froze before I could bring my aft tubes to bear, and the game crashed before I could sink it. Too bad! It was dead in the water!

Glad to hear your again seaworthy Captain but if I were you I'd stay out of Pearl ( Admiral has nasty temper for some reason. ) and transfer to somewhere "Down Under".

Default may just do that

My girlfriend and her sister, who are featured on the left and right side of my emblem, are demanding I do just that. They are persistent, too. They say that if I am dumb enough to confront an Admiral and get thrown in the brig because I listened to your suggestion, you are worth meeting. Any objections if they come along?

I don't think Nicole would like that, but thanks anyway.

sometimes your home base moves on you and the game dont always tell you about it so pay close attention to those anchors on the map so you dont go to the wrong port.

Was your crew on silent running? or auto torpedo loading off? If so, they won't reload when you stop at a port.
