Default [REL] Rockin Robbins' Slightly Subnuclear Deck Gun AND SSn Mk 14s and Cuties!

Slightly Subnuclear Weaponry, SA introduces the brand new, 2009 Slightly Subnuclear Deck Gun! No longer based on the New Real Deck Gun, this is a universal mod that works equally well in stock, RFB, TMO, Fill in the Blank. No characteristics of your deck gun are changed except for the boom on the receiving end of the shot. Works great with Real Fleet Boat if you're frustrated by the target damage modeling. Just load up Slightly Subnuclear Deck Gun and take her out for a spin to relieve your tension. Then unload it and resume battle with a much better attitude.

Each shell packs between 5,000 and 20,000 hitpoints of mayhem. It can be loaded at sea with no problems. If it has any problem, I've appointed Kapt Lehmann as my complaints handler. Do not allow small children or pets to use this product.

Coming soon, much TOO soon for some, is my Slightly Subnuclear Cutie, which will be in a combination mod with my Slightly Subnuclear MarK 14. Slightly Subnuclear Mark 14s and Cutie is here!

Slightly Subnuclear Weaponry, SA Because it's a GAME, Bozo!

Edit: links restored and all mods refreshed! 5/1/09

Holy Cow! The ingenuity of the users exceeds the ingenuity of the Slightly Subnuclear Modder! Of course that isn't too difficult to do...

I also just found out, to my great surprise/demise, that it makes a mini version for your AA gun, also. I destroyed a harbor, and then attempted to ram a sampan. He ducked out of the way, so I loaded up the AA and put one shot into him. That was it, one little round.

From about 30 yards.

He exploded into little bits, and so did my beautiful sub and all my minions.

I was laughing too hard to cry. This is a FUN mod!

I guess I don't need to speculate what happens if an aircraft gets in the way?:rotfl:I've been having too much fun with the Subnuclear Cutie and Mark 14 mod. I apologize and will release it tonight in this thread.

Default slightly off topic

one thing though... sometimes those sub nuclear torps hit,, i dont see any damage or holes in the hull but its sinking... and sometimes it reduces those big ships to a burnt matchsticks like framehouses...

really fun blasting in those RSRDC quick missions..

uhmm another thing i think some of those DD's use this guns too.. i was blasted with one of them guns and me boat was almost feeled off reavealing the boats compartments... iwas so laughing co'z i still manage to complete the mission(with the help of those guns)..

I am so lazy! But finally, after hogging all the fun to myself for the last two weeks, here is the Slightly Subnuclear Mark 14s and Cuties Mod. The SSn Cutie goes 30 knots, is more maneuverable than the stock Cutie to make up for the speed and has between 5,000 and 50,000 hitpoints of mayhem built in. These are good enough to just point and shoot at a moving target. Because of their speed, if they aren't close enough they will sometimes charge right on by a target, so use some care.

These are not guaranteed at all. If they take after your sub, unless you have a 40 knot sub just say your prayers and jump overboard because you're toast. They will bounce a DD right out of the water sometimes. Not for use around pets or small children. You have been warned.

Can we expect the Mark XXX Subnuclear DC anytime soon for your friendly neighborhood Kaibokan?

I'm thinking play balance.

Hmmmm. I better check that one out....

Ruh Roh..... looks bad for our heroes! I'll be the performance isn't too good right now! Fixing..... I apologize folks. I've lost the handle on the mod and will have to go back to work. Why something that looked so clear to me a month ago should look so hard to comprehend now is beyond me. But I can't make it work.
