Default The Fate of Humans

I was just curious how people here think the world future will really play out...I think it will follow the biblical blueprint that is layed out in Revelations myself but am curious what others think....btw...if not for the heaven hell scenario I would have voted soylent green.

Where the 'Death by Meteor' option?

Ah, well, I'll go with "We're doomed"

agree with raptor, if a Meteor was to start heading towards the planet today, theres no way to stop it.

We're probably far more likely to destroyed as a species by a nearby star going supernova and blasting the planet with gamma rays than a meteor. At least a meteor you can see coming if you're lucky. By the time the gamma rays hit there is nothing Bruce Willis and company can do.

Wait.....I think I voted wrong. Does "natural course of evolution" include social darwinism, or is it some lame hippie interpretation?

Are you not one to believe the meteor colliding with Earth idea?

Gamma rays won't penetrate Chuck Norris so supernova is just a minor nuisance.

Don't worry, be Happy!!

I'm still delusional enough to believe that there are more 'good' people than 'bad' people in the world. The 'good' just don't make the evening news as much.

The possible futures are endless, and usually truth ends up stranger, or a lot duller than fiction.
I can imagine some intersteller cyber punk, to reverting back to some mideavel existance. But chances are it will be pretty mandane.
