Default Palin questions McCain on Michigan

I found this interesting with regard to two aspects. One, why is she out of the loop - surely she should not have to read it in the morning papers. Secondly, should a running mate really be questioning the judgment of their party nominee in front of the public? Something tells me McCain ain't going to be too happy with that.

Quote:
Sarah Palin questioned Republican presidential candidate John McCain's decision to abandon efforts to win Michigan, a campaign move she only learned about Friday morning when she read it in the newspapers.

In an interview with Fox News Channel Friday, the Alaska governor said she was disappointed that the McCain campaign decided to stop competing in Michigan. In an indication that the vice presidential candidate had not been part of the decision, she said she had "read that this morning and I fired off a quick e-mail" questioning the move.

She's delusional if she thinks she's REALLY going to be part of ANY of McCains' decision making processes... She's his running mate solely because she's a woman, and not a significant political one at that. McCain could have chosen from dozens of better qualified women politicians.

But then, gee, they might have their own idea on running the government...

Palin and reasons aside, the fact that the McCain campaign has pulled up stakes in Michigan is certainly an ominous sign for his determined supporters.

A double gaff from Palin?

1. She has shown by her response she is not in on McCain's strategy decisions; raises questions as to why she has been ommitted. Competancy perhaps?

2. Then she openly and publically volunteers the information that she is questioning McCain's decison.

Doesn't sound good.

Surely a politician at this level should be a bit more conscientious about how they respond to something likethis even when somethng like this sprung on them?

It is increasingly obvious that now that the debate is over. She is useless to McCain and thus they aren't even bothering to tell her critical campaign info.

Obama is pulling away in the polls and battleground states..

The debate was a failure. The only success was her not being politically slaughtered.

I do not think that there is going to be an "October VP surprise" Because everyone expects such a move. Getting rid of Sarah WILL mean defeat for McCain in November.

McCain is stuck with her to the sad sorry end.

No, it just shows that she's her own woman, not a lock-step lackey with no opinions of her own.

No, it just shows that she's just as much an Authority-bucking maverick as he is.

Well, golly gee, don't you just have the most negative outlook on things. Don't you know Obama is just the worst negative ninny in town, and wants to sell you to the terrorists?

What's wrong with you? Do you still believe she's not qualified? Don't you know she can see Russia from her house?

I'm going to start a petition to get you banned for attack campaigning.

An almost fatal dose of sarcasm there by Sailor Steve I would say. At least it appeared obvious to me with the last remark "....she can see Russia from her house?"

And here I was waiting for Subman to accuse me of mocking people rather than legitimate argument, which is what I accuse him of half the time.

Well, I can see I need to be less Conservative and more Liberal, at least with the :rotfl: 's.
