My setup is as follows.
REL_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_152 RSRDC_TMOv15_V371 RSRDC_V371_Patch9 Historical Prop Rotation -TM Poul-Sound for SH4 SH4 Flag Replacement Optics2 over TM Started a Gato, May 25th '42 patrol, looking to hunt a Yamamoto as part of the Midway invasion fleet. After spending hours looking for it along historic routes I finally found the sucker only to have it DESPAWN right before the attack. I saved on initial contact and repeated this several times. I though maybe because its not engaged so I took out a destroyer and was going for another in defense and it happened again..the whole convoy despawned right before I was going to chalk two destroyers... I watched it do a philadelphia experiment on the event camera right before a torpedo was going to impact ![]() What I noticed is that on the initial contact at 31N 179W the convoy was heading WNW with carriers on June 5th. It respawns about 10m to the east now heading ESE with no carriers. Ok I figured this is how it handles the carriers sinking, however once again... the convoy despawns after about 15m and is no where to be found. Can anyone make sense of this, or seen anything like this before? Are any of the mods above a possible cause? |
