[QUE]RSRD Balao Submarine!

Ahoy Captains!

Many of you should know the awesome movie "Run Silent Run Deep". Since when I first saw this movie I wanted to have this submarine in a submarine simulation.

A friend of mine and I found out that it is possible to modify the balao class submarine so that it has got the conning tower which was used shortly after the second world war. (See pictures)

Is there anyone else who would be intereseted in that modified balao class submarine although it is not historically correct? Maybe someone could give us some tips who has allready worked with 3d models of Silent Hunter 4?

I just wanted to ask.

Sure. Looks pretty neat to me. Sorry I don't have any additional info to offer. I will check CMDR Alden's book and see what I can find.

hi i love run silent run deep and would absolutley be interested in the conning tower from the movie for the balao class submarine

besides who need AA guns when your running silent AND deep

Looks to me like a late ware sail without any armament on it. What would be better for me would be to have the Run Silent characters on board with voices.
