question for the GWX 2.1 developers team

First off all i want to thank you all for making SH3 the best simulationgame there is.
I have a question guys. I started me carreer when the war started. at that moment i was at sea in the english channel my carreer lasted for 1.5 months and i have not met a single airplane. i think the moment when england declared war on germany there were massive air patrols on english coast and mining operations in english channel now my question is WHERE ARE THE PLANES WHEN GERMANY ATTACKS POLAND AND ENGLAND AND FRANCE DECLARED WAR ON GERMANY (i was all the time under english coast and saw not a single english plane)

GWX 2.1 now starts off in August for 1939 starts mind.

Also in 1939 air activity is generally pretty quiet. You do get patrols a plenty, but, there will come a time when you will be cowering in the corner at the through of an aircraft lol

Ahahah! the plan seems to be working

you'll be lured into a false sense of security...and then a few weeks later you'll be cruising the atlantic, far away from land when suddenly

Vrroooom....Dakka Dakka....

Allaaaarm!

Kerblooie!!, kerblooie!! Foooommmm!

glub...glub.....blub................

and some Tommy in a Sunderland you never saw coming will have parked you and your boat on the seabed to sleep with the fishies

Ah, yes the vampire-night watchmen, fortunately my monitor is so dark that I can barely see beyond the front of the boat at night, this compensates a bit

Default Where are the planes

Hitler never wanted to go to war with Great Britain or, early at least, with France, so there was a "False War" for a while where everything was quite and some hope (except for Churchill) that the war could be avoided.

Actually not. The big minelaying operations didn't begin until April 1940, and while there were air patrols the British didn't have enough planes for them to be called "massive". They were hardly ready for the Battle of Britain almost a year later.

That you didn't see any planes at all is regretable. There are planes around, just not a lot of them.
